Different Types of Solar Power Systems

On-grid solar System

On-grid, also known as grid-tied or grid-connected solar systems, are the most common type of solar power setups. These systems are connected to the public electricity grid and allow excess energy produced by the solar panels to be fed back into the grid. No need for batteries, reducing initial costs.

Off-grid solar System

Off-grid solar systems are completely independent of the public electricity grid, making them ideal for remote areas without access to the grid. These systems typically require battery storage to ensure a steady power supply, especially during times when sunlight is limited.

Hybrid solar System

Hybrid solar systems combine the benefits of both on-grid and off-grid systems. These setups are connected to the grid but also have battery storage to store excess energy for later use. This allows the system to function during grid outages and ensures that excess power can be used when needed.
